We are seeking a warm, skilled, and purpose-driven Child Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This clinician will provide direct therapeutic services to children and their families using evidence-based interventions. A Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential — or eligibility for the designation — is strongly preferred, as we highly value developmentally appropriate modalities that meet children where they are.
This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children who need compassionate, skilled care and families who need answers and support.
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide individual therapy to children ages 3–12 using developmentally attuned, trauma-informed approaches (play therapy, sand tray, CBT, etc.)
-
Conduct intake assessments and collaborate with caregivers to create effective treatment plans
-
Partner with psychologists and psychiatrists on multidisciplinary case formulations
-
Provide parent consultations, psychoeducation, and support as part of a whole-family care model
-
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
-
Attend and contribute to clinical team meetings and case consultations
-
Support families in advocating for their children in school and community settings
Qualifications
-
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
-
Licensed or license-eligible in the state (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LP)
-
Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential or currently working toward RPT certification
-
Experience working with children presenting with emotional, behavioral, or developmental concerns
-
Strong grounding in trauma-informed care, child development, and family systems
-
Passion for collaborative care and working in a team-oriented environment
-
Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
