A Message From Revae

You may be noticing that your child is having a hard time socializing with peers. Or perhaps your child’s teachers may have expressed some concern about his behavior. Or maybe there is some concern that he is falling behind with his reading.

As a parent, the last thing you want to do is see your child struggling. You want to be able to help, and see your child thrive. Unfortunately, we can’t do much to help if we don’t fully understand the nature of our child’s problems.

Hi, I’m Revae Boykins, a Supervised Doctoral Student at Pivot Child Psychological Services, and I believe that an in-depth psychological evaluation is the best way to understand what is at the root of the problems you are seeing.

Testing will provide a thorough understanding of your child’s difficulties, as well as their strengths and weaknesses, which will put you in the best position to ensure they get the right help.

My experience is that getting your child tested as soon as a problem begins to surface, always leads to the best outcomes. I have been conducting assessments for approximately 1 year under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.

Over, and over I have seen the value a psychological assessment can bring to treatment and overall life satisfaction. This is especially true for children and adolescents.

Getting started with a psychological evaluation is easy.

First, complete the new client appointment form by clicking the “Schedule appointment” button below. We will reach out to you and make sure we are a good fit for what your child needs.

Then, we will set up an intake appointment where I will meet with you and discuss what you and your child are currently going through. I will also meet with your child.

After the intake, we will put together a unique series of tests specific to your child’s needs.

Within a week or two I will be able to go over the results as well as the relevant recommendations. The entire process should take four weeks or less.

If you are ready to take that first step to help your struggling child, I can assure you that I will be with you all of the way.
